The Production Process
At k-apostrophe, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We aim to reduce waste across our entire supply chain, from responsible sourcing of raw materials to eco-friendly production processes and packaging. By keeping sustainability front and center in all our decisions, we hope to reduce our environmental impact and be a driving force for positive change.
Made To Order
Our made-to-order approach eliminates overproduction and waste. Each item is crafted only when you order it, reducing our carbon footprint and ensuring the quality of your product.
Our Partners
Our commitment extends to our partners who value fair wages and safe facilities, aligning with our core values. With each purchase from our collection, you're not only bringing artful elegance to your home, but you're also supporting responsible practices and promoting a sustainable future.
Blanket + Pillow + Tapestry Collections
Tabletop Collections
Our tabletop production partner, based in the UK, shares our commitment to sustainability. They craft napkins and placemats only after receiving our order, thereby minimizing waste. The production process emphasizes water conservation and responsible ink disposal to prevent environmental harm. By housing printing, cutting and sewing under one roof, they also reduce carbon emissions from transportation.
Oaxacan Wool Floor and Lumbar Pillow Collection
Our Oaxacan pillows are handcrafted using 100% wool, spun and woven using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Our skilled artisan partners work in harmony with the seasons, hand-dying the yarn using natural pigments and drying the wool by air rather than in a machine. This eco-friendly process means production slows during the rainy seasons, but results in beautiful, colorful textiles that become heirloom pieces. Each pillow is a unique work of art, crafted to last a lifetime if treated with care.
