Made-to-Order - Slow Manufacturing
Most everything sold on k-apostrophe is made by artisans. From the original paintings by K’era Morgan to the woven pillow covers and blankets. As a business our focus is creating well-made artful products and paying each artisan and technician with whom we work to bring our products to life a faire wage.We also are very mindful about the amount of textile waste in the world generated by the surplus supply of goods that wind up in landfills. Therefore, we prefer to only produce on a made-to-order basis. We do at times have a few extras on hand but in most cases, once an order is placed it hits our production queue and multiple hands, creatives, technicians and artisans begin working on a product that was specifically produced for you. This however means shipping times are slower than what can be expected with big box retailers and at times there are delays due to issues that arise in our workshop. Stuff happens but we feel it more as a small business! But we can promise when you do you receive your purchase, it will be worth the wait. Care Instructions for Your Woven Goods
Your blanket can be cleaned in a washer at home in cool or cold water and hung out to dry. It is recommended to do the same for pillow covers. Please note, remove the insert before washing! In addition, you can use an iron on the appropriate setting for “cotton” should you want to smooth out wrinkles. Tapestries should be spot cleaned and to smooth out wrinkles especially after shipping, you can run a cool iron on the backside. For wool items, handwash/soak in cold with an appropriate gentle cleanser, rinse and lay flat to dry. For napkins and placemats, machine wash on cold. Place in dryer on cool setting or air dry flat. Iron on the appropriate setting to remove wrinkles if necessary.
Shipping Domestic
Please note due to COVID, current shipping times are not guaranteed by carriers and delays should be expected.
All throw blankets, tapestries and the majority of the our pillows are woven in small batches and on demand and in most cases will ship within 3 weeks. All un-framed fine art prints are shipped within 7 business days and framed prints can take up to 3 weeks to ship and are packaged in a sturdy, flat cardboard mailers to ensure safe delivery.
All orders are shipped via USPS and should arrive within 5 to 7 business days once shipped. A tracking number will be emailed once your order is in the mail. Orders overs $300 may require signature for delivery.
Once k-apostrophe has delivered the merchandise to the carrier and they have accepted the item, you will assume the risk of loss and title for the merchandise. k-apostrophe is not responsible for lost, misplaced or stolen packages. Please contact your local post office or shipping courier to remedy the situation.
Shipping International
All international orders will be shipped via UPS International and all customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Once the order has been shipped a tracking number will be sent. Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive your order. k-apostrophe is not responsible for any extra taxes and fees that may apply once the package arrives in the destination country. At this time we are not able to provide exact delivery time frames for all destinations. In addition, some international shipments may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we cannot foresee additional duties charges or customs delays. We can suggest for you to contact your local customs office for any additional information.
Returns
Please contact us within 5 days if you received damaged goods. Returns and exchanges are accepted for damaged goods and must shipped out within 14 days of receipt. Please include original packaging and receipt.
All throw blankets, tapestries, and pillows are woven on demand specifically for each buyer so please keep that in mind if you have any issues or concerns.
It cannot be guaranteed that the colors on the website will be true to life as this depends partly on the color settings of your computer and monitor.
If you aren't completely satisfied with your order, please email hello@k-apostrophe.com. In the event a return needs to be initiated please email the address previously listed address to request a return label. However, please note, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your final refund amount as shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you are shipping a return item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
In the rare case that a credit is issued, k-apostrophe has the discretion on how the credit may be redeemed (e.g. certain products may be exempt from being purchased via store credit). Unused store credit will expire after 2 years from date of issue.
Commissions
Do yo like something you see but you are looking for something specific please email hello at hello@k-apostrophe.com to discuss further. Commissions of original art, one-of-a-kind blankets, tapestries and murals are all gladly excepted.
Discounts & Installment Agreements
Design professionals (Interior Designer, Architecture, Set Design, Home Staging) can receive 15% discount on purchases.
Installment payment agreements can be negotiated when purchasing original or commissioned artwork as well as any item on the website which is an option available at checkout.
