A fabric like paper is used as the substrate for this painting that mixes drawing with the ancient yet simple techniques of rubbing and frottage of different surfaces to develop unique textures. In this case, K’era blends these techniques with painting to create a composition reminiscent of an overhead view of tide pools as sea-life and vegetation ebb and flow with the tide.
